I would like to know where to have my Astatic Silver Eagle Plus D104 fixed? In fact no audio out is reported or noticed in the mod meter during tx

I feel it's not the crystal element that's the problem. I have the notion that the modulation variable adjustment at the bottom has been over adjusted and is busted?
If I can have it fixed do I have to send over the pcb or the whole mic over?
Where could I have adapters made to allow me to use the SE D104 with a Tiger 80, Super Star 2400, or with an ICOM HF all band transceiver IC-720A), or 144Mhz TR (IC-2289H)
Sounds as thought you have a bad element. You can order another element from Asatic or your local CB shop should be able to help. Good Luck

astatic.com - Commercial Products
Here is the web sight for astatic. You can contact them for dealers/repair sights for their products. Unfortunatly, we as help consulants, can not advertise for any companies as to where to have a product repaired. I will mention that as for adapters for different radios will probably have to be custom built, as mic adapters are no longer manufactured in a mass state as they once were ( to my best knowledge ). If the modulation pot has been over adjusted and broke, the replacement of this pot ( variable resistor ) is easly done by simply replacing it with one of like resistance value ( the value is normally listed on the metal case on the varibale resistor). I hope this has helped in some manner.
