On my Hitachi 50" projection TV (50V500) I have had a blue background cloud for some time and now has developed a yellow band at the top of the screen. A month ago I had to replace the projection lamp. Is there a relationship with these problems or is it an indication the TV's days are numbered? I bought the TV in March 2005 for $3500.00 and would have thought it would last longer than this without these major problems. Any suggestions?
