Note how one motor is used to produce the agitation when it rotates in one direction and the spin when it rotates in the other. The manual describes how the motor spin is transferred through the transmission and other elements. You need to consider each step from whether the motor is spinning to whether the tub is turning and see where the motion is being lost. The motor itself is probably just fine since it produces agitation. Something is probably either jammed (if the motor isn't turning) or disconnected (if it is) when it should be spinning.

During the wash cycle, the lid was slammed from about 5 inches high. Now the machine is not coming on. The fingertip faucet is the only thing that still comes on. I checked the breaker and outlet and they are fine. Is there some sort of reset or similar.
