upgraded dsl modem to westell G-90-610015-20 and my linksys WRT54G router cant get an IP address. I just upgraded the modem from and older westell model, didn't change any of the settings and it can't get an IP address. Modem works fine without the router.

if you connect the computer directly to the modem, without any router , does it work?
Make sure that your computer will be online when connected to the modem.
If you are not online through the modem, then you should have the correct user name and password for the ISP.
