Question about Nokia 6230

1 Answer

Searching for service

I have an old nokia cellphone Model #3587i, and it was working fine until a few days ago. I was trying to find out why I had a message icon on my screen, and must have done something wrong, because now it keeps giving me the message "searching for service". I can't make or receive calls. Do you have a suggestion to fix the problem?

Try resetting the phone......that may help...or go to the phone settings ...locate the network settings and have the phone do a maunal search.....hopefully that works for you.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Hello a few days ago I found a cellphone, a nokia c7, only receives calls, leaves no calls ... any way to resolve this and keep the mobile phone working? Thank you very much greetings

If the cell phone has been lost or stolen then it may be locked to prevent further use otherwise the owner will be paying for phone calls that he or she did not make.
Inserting a new SIM card from a new cell phone service provider may work provided the cell phone is not locked to a particular cell phone service provider.

Hello, My nokia 6760 has suddenly stopped sending messages, all the messages just sit in the outbox. Ive had the phone for about 4 months and its been fine untill a few days ago when messages were no...

I have the exact same error. I called my service provider today and they gave me the message centre number, i re-entered that into my phone and it didnt work. They then advised me it was a network error. He told me to call back in a few days to see if they had fixed it. Perhaps try call your network provider as well. I'll see if mine works and get back to you.

Hi my phone has had no service for the past 5 days when it searches for a network it says that "no network operator found" but it can't be the sim card because it works fine in my old nokia 6300 Does...

Try upgrading the Symbian System with Nokia PC Suite. Try multiple sim cards.

If it still doenst work...
-The Sim Card might be damaged or incompatible with the phone.
-The Sim Card reader in the phone could be defective.
-The Phones Signal part could be defective too.

Nokia 3587i screen not displaying info

Your display circuit is broken, even if the LCD-panel,
seems to be ok the display is damaged.
This is a very common problem in Nokia phones.
The only way to fix this is to change the display.
You need a T-6 Torx Skrewdriver to do the job.
You can find displays for fair price at :
