    Did it work? I changed mine out after finding tears in the internal filter, but still having to pull lint bucket and remove to expose sensors and still have alot of lint built up back there. What did I do wrong?

Pretty easy on the lint assy;
Remove the lint cup;
Find screw (5) in a recess at the bottom of the lint cup area;
This will allow removal of the perforated lint surround, and the 'lint scraper'; Also will expose the moisture sensor (3) hanging off wires at the bottom of the assy;
At the bottom of the surround there is another recessed phillips screw; remove this, then twist the surround (14) counter-clockwise about 1/2" and remove to expose the filter (13).

Not sure on the reset- I do know the top swivels up after removing the two screw caps and screws at the front of the unit on either side. This exposes the underside of the control panel; there are screws at the back of the control panel also.

If you have already been inside of the back circuit board area, make sure that you don't use any type of magnetic screw drivers or any thing that can statically discharge a capacitor etc. Next since you say there are 3 boards present,the board, you are looking for is the power board.How to identify the correct one, follow the AC cord from the plug into the board that it first attaches to.That is the power board.Carefully disconnect any 6 pin or any multi pin connector and mark them for re assembly.There should be 6-8 screws that are removed then remove board.Have a very bright light on hand and carefully examine the board for any broken circuits or burnt components.If found ,go online and search eBay Amazon etc. For replacement board. Assembly is reversed order of removal.

We bought this dryer the year Fisher and Paykel introduced it in America.(probably 2005??) It has had one problem before and that was fixed by a technician. Now the dryer at the end of the last cycle had...

Hi Lynda,

I am inclined to think that you have a faulty control board. Moisture from the dryer does tend to corrode the PCB (circuit board) and you end up having irregular faults.

Get your husband to unplug the dryer and then remove the screws from under the display/touch panel. Gently remove the display panel exposing the control board behind it. Note the wiring position which is connected to the board.
Detach the board from the plastic panel and physically inspect the boared for signs of corrosion or dry solder joins. Note there are two boards cased together (Display and Control PCBs). The part is sold as one unit.

The buttons on my TI-30X IIS are not working except for the 0, equal and second buttons

Sounds like you have a shorted out circuit card. Try replacing the batteries first to see if the power returns to the keys. If that doesn't work, you will find it cheaper to find a replacement calculator vs sending it to an authorized factory repair center. Hope this helps.

The buttons on my Whirlpool dishwasher have gone haywire and have a mind of their own. I can't push a button to start the dishwasher

Try disconnecting the power cord for 5 min. to see if the unit will reset itself. If that does not work, disconnect the power cord and remove the inside panel behind the control board to check the circuit board for burnt marks or smell. If found defective, click on the following link to ID and order the correct part.
Good Luck!! A HELPFUL - 4 THUMBS - rating for this solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for using FixYa.
