Problem for Dell Latitude D620 (D620SINGLE) PC Notebook
I have a latitude d620
I have a latitude d620 it will not shutdown when connected to the VPN, it freezes continulally and I have to shut it down maually. The bios version is A08 and I have 2gb of RAM and 46gb free on the disk. I dont see anything in the event viewer. Where is the best place to start looking? Thanks for any assistance.

Try RAM modules individually, see if issues seem to be related to one or the other module. If issue seems to be isolated to one module, then replace that module.
If no go then you can try these tips:

- Edit MSCONFIG startup group, and see if a driver being loaded is the cause of your issues.
- Update the video driver is there is one more current.
- If connecting via wireless, try updating the wireless driver and see if managing the wireless connection via Windows Zero Config works better.
- Check .dmp files using windows debugger and see if debugger indicates and software issues
- Last option is backup data and clean install of WIndows
