My washing machine is dripping water into the drum after the load is finished. It appears to be going through the cycle fine, but water keeps dripping into the drum.
I don't know if this information will help or not but my husband recently moved it forward to get behind the washer. He unplugged it and turned the water off but didn't disconnect any hoses. After this it started leaking water after the load.
Interesting though,.... after we run the "drain & spin" cycle, we don't get any dripping....
I don't know if this will help or not, but my machine has gone through (2) fill valve assemblies so far. In one case, it wouldn't fully shut-off and was also erratic. I replaced it (very easy to do) and that fixed the problem. I think my machine is an HE2, but I'd guess it's probably the same parts... (Parts available through the Sears web site. The last one I bought was around $55 for the assembly.)

Troubleshoot your Admiral Top Load Washer that has these following symptoms: Not Completing all Cycles ...
it will not let you unlock the door because the machines full of water?--the machine will not finish its cycle because the vacume switch is still detecting water , The water will not drain because the pump is blocked with something , probably a wire from your underwire bra,all you can do is undo a pipe undernieth and let the water drain away and take the pump to bits ?There may be an inspection cap somewhere on the front at the bottom
check to see if there are any rips in the door seal, then take the bottom of the washer off you will see 3 screws holding it on. see if the water is coming out of the pump that is right behind the panel that you took off.
Ours started knocking several months ago and then progressed to a high pitched sound when in the spin cycle. I manually turned the drum and heard and felt a bearing roughness. I lifted the drum assembly and felt a fair amount of play, which I think the initial knocking noise came from. On the sears web site a new rear drum mount cost 293.00. Today we went and bought a LG model wm2455hw at Home depot, on sale until 2/20/08. I couldn't see paying to repair a machine that only lasted four years.
the water inlet solenoid valve has debris stuck inside of it, thereby not allowing complete "off" mode. best to remove it and clean the water path thoroughly. valve is found by tracing the inlet water hose.
