I've just plugged in my new 2nd hand machine and water went all over the bench and floor and not in the cup...how can I make a cup of coffee?

- The machine was turned on, the coffee grinder was activitated when I pressed the expresso button, but no water came into the cup. Instead the coffee went into the drainer plate and underneath the machine. The descaling light came on, so could that be the problem, ie it doesn't work if that light is on? I have tried the machine several times, but the same thing happens....and I just want a cup of coffee!!! Is something wrong with the pump, or is there something else I should be doing? I have read the instruction manual lots of times, but I can't see a solution to my problem. I hope you can help.

Hi
Your inlet water line has become disconnected from the inlet port. There are 2 Torex #10 screws under the water tank You need to remove the bean hopper (2 screws), then there is a screw in the back under the bean hopper. loosen the 2 screw in the front bottom of the main cover (each corner). Lift the back up by the water tank. The hose connects to a filter and its about 3/8 " silicone. It connects to the port (make sure that you get the one that is open because thee are a few that look right) Once connected lower and place a water tank with water in it to check that you got the right one. The reinstall all the screws and you done.
