HP R927 says that the 4GB card i recently bought wrong format

I have an HP927, and it is not compatible with SDHC ("Secure Digital High Capacity") memory cards, which are greater than 2GB in size.

That, plus poor quality lenses and poor battery life makes this a substandard camera, despite great on-camera editing tools. Poor execution is why HP left the camera business last year.

ok ...see that into the side of the card( if its a SD) has a slide like button with 2 positions ...one of them is the unlocked one ...after that either format it into the camera if it has that feature...or just connect it to the computer and it will be found somewhere into the My computer as a removable drive ....just right click and format in Fat 32...this is the actual storage format fit for this cards..
