Washer will not spin, it makes noise as if bearings have gone, empties ok and washes ok

Hi if your beko washing machine is causing a problem and wont drain or has a spin problem then you have to check the carbon brushes first.

Also check all waste pipes are clear and inspect the pump I have included this video below.

At our website I am doing self diagnostic videos on these beko's as we speak so all tutorials will be in this link below
How to replace Beko Washing Machine Motor Carbon Brushes
you might find this test video helpful but only do it if you have checked the motor

We keep getting an overload motor message and the washer won't activate. What is the most likley cause?

Sometimes just running a bulky load at a high spin speed will do that, but if that is not the only time it happens, then replace the Hall sensor. It is a small part cliped onto the stationary coils of the motor. Unplug machine. Remove back cover. Remove large bolt in center of motor rotor. Pull rotor off. Remove metric bolts from stationary coils to remove coils. Unplug electric connectors from coils and Hall sensor. Unclip Hall sensor from coils. Reverse process to install new sensor. (note: sensor itself has 5, 7, or 10 year warranty, depending on when the unit was manufactured, but is not that expensive anyway) Other much more unlikely causes could be a bad motor stator, rotor, wire connecting motor to control board, plug in of wire at motor or board, board itself, or the shaft of the "spider" loose from the rest of the spider. (three arms of spider attach to the back of the inner wash drum)

Error message F50

F50 means that the Rotation Position Sensor doesn't sense any movement from the motor.
This test checks the wiring to the motor and rotor position sensor; and the motor and rotor position sensor themselves. NOTE: Drain water from tub.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check to see if basket will turn freely. If basket turns freely, go to step 3. If basket does not turn freely, determine what is causing the mechanical friction or lock up.
3. Remove the console to access the machine/motor control assembly.
4. Visually check that the P5 and P10 connectors are inserted all the way into the machine/motor control. If visual checks pass, go to step 5. If visual checks fail, reconnect P5 and P10.
5. With an ohmmeter, check for 16 ohms resistance at the P5 connector between pins P5-1 and P5-2, and also between pins P5-1 and P5-3.Also measure the resistance at the P10 connector between pins P10-1and P10-7 and verify that the resistance is within the range. If the P5 connector resistance is much higher than 16 ohms, or the P10 connector resistance is out of range.
6. Tilt machine forward to access the bottom of the machine and the drive motor area. Remove the motor bolt, then the motor cover to access the motor connections.
7. Visually check the mounting bracket and electrical connections to the motor and rotor position sensor board. If visual check fails, reconnect the electrical connections, reassemble stator and motor cover.
8. With an ohmmeter, check for continuity between all pins on the P10 machine/motor control connector and the motor rotor position sensor (RPS) connector. If there is no continuity, replace the lower machine harness.
9. With an ohmmeter, check for continuity between all pins on the P5 machine/motor control connector and the drive motor connector. If there is continuity, replace the drive motor. If there is no continuity, replace the lower machine harness.
10. The drive motor and lower harness are good. Replace the motor RPS board and perform the Diagnostics test.
11. If the Diagnostics motor failed, then the machine/motor control has failed: Unplug the washer or disconnect power.Replace the machine/motor control assembly.

Thank you !!

Drum wont rotate

Code LE is a locked motor Error and it is caused by:

• The connector (3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR
HARNESS is not connected to the connector
(3-pin, female, white) of STATOR ASSEMBLY.
• The electric contact between the connectors
(3-pin, male, white) in the MOTOR HARNESS
and 4-pin, female, white connector in the MAIN PWB
ASSEMBLY is bad or unstable.
• The MOTOR HARNESS between the STATOR
• The hall sensor is out of order/defective.

If you need a service manual for that you can find on Here.

Maytag front load washer keeps giving an E3 error during wash, rinse and spin cycles. Not all the time. Sometimes restarting the washer works, othe times not. It seems the error occurs when the tub won't...

The machine control ("main computer board") is attempting to drive the motor but not detecting any tach response from it. The E3 fault code appears when the rotor or the drum is locked or the Hall Sensor is faulty. But the intermittent behavior of the problem suggests a loose wiring connection. Check the harness that connects the Hall Sensor and the motor to the machine control and make sure the connections are snug fit and not corroded. Clean the connectors and terminals then reseat the connections several times to clean off dirt and corrosion build up in the connectors and terminals. Replace the wiring harness if necessary or if it is badly corroded.

Indicate the exact model number of the washer if the problem is not addressed above for further advice.

What does an ''LE'' code mean on a LG Model WM2075CW

Thanks for using FixYa. Make sure the error is not IE, which means water has not reached to the pre-set level within 4 min. since ERROR inlet valve operated or water has not reached to the normal level within 25 min.

The 'LE' error message indicates the control board has detected that the motor is either not turning, or has locked up for some reason. Monitoring the motor is the job of the Hall Effect sensor board which constantly determines the direction and speed of the motor and feeds that information back to the control board. If there is a problem between what the motor should be doing and what the hall effect sensor says the motor is doing, the 'LE' will be displayed and the cycle will be stopped.

Motor lock can be caused by several things from a loose connector, to a bad motor, or even the hall effect sensor failing or dislodging from it's mount. Any one or more of these components could have caused this error, but it is possible to separate the working from the non-working, just by following a process.

To make sure its not a locked motor, try turning the drum with your hand. And, if you feel some resistance while turning the drum or the drum doesn’t move freely then the motor is locked and you’ll need to get it replaced.

The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty (in US). Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Snap new sensor on and reassemble. Usually takes under a half hour.

Also check for ---

  • Check for the Connector (3 pin, male, white) in the Wire Harness, check if it is connected to the Connector (3 pin, female, white) of MOTOR. Reconnect or repair the connector.
  • The electric contact between the connectors¡a3 pin, male, white in the Wire Harness and 6 pin, female, white in the PWB ASSY(Main) is bad or unstable.Reconnect or repair the contact in the connector.
  • The Wire Harness between the MOTOR and PWB ASSY(Main) is cut(open circuited).Repair the damaged (open-circuited) WIRE HARNESS
  • The hall sensor is out of order/defective.Replace the PWB ASSY(Main).

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Error 5

Error 5 refers to the temperature sensor.
On my machine the wire to it had broken at the spade connector connecting to the sensor.
You can access it easily by removing the back panel, the sensor is at the bottom of the drum with one white wire coming from it. I replaced the connector with a sleeved 1/4" spade connector bought from Halfords.
The wire is of poor quality so try to support it so vibrations dont cause the cable to fracture again
