Driver I got the camera, but my computer needs a disk/driver. dont have one. need to download it.

Download from JVC support site, or else card mfr's site

The drivers built into Windows 7 should work fine. Have you plugged the camera into the USB of your computer? It will show up in "My Computer".
This camera did come with a disk originality, but the only thing that would have been of any use would be the editing program, and windows does that now too.

No its not a cable or cord issue.


these are the steps that you need to do

1. unplug your camera from the computer

2. uninstall the Kodak Software from the add/remove programs or Programs and features in the control panel

NOTE: please make sure that you have the drivers/software or the disk for the EasyShare before uninstalling


if you dont have the disk with you, you can download the drivers here

3. restart the computer after uninstalling.

4. install the software using the disk if you have it or download the link provided above.

5. after installing the drivers restart the computer and after the restart plug in the camera and try to transfer the file to your PC

Make sure that the usb drivers do not have conflick right click on my computer and go to propertys open the device manager and see if there are any conflick of driver unistall the camera and drivers for the camera restart the laptop ad the setup disk and follow the prompts to reinstall the drivers if you dont have a setup disk download the driver and put them on a disk ,if you install from a disk you will have less chance of conflick than you would if you just down load and install from the internet.

go to the link below for the driver, you dont need software as you can explore the camera in my computer and copy then paste the photos, but windows may come up with picture viewer when you connect the cam up to the pc

You could use a card reader connected to your computer and this would not require any drivers.
