Question about Samsung LE32R41BD 32 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
I have a 40inch samsung lcd tv and not long after you turn it on it switches itself off adn on at least 5 times or more has any one had the same problem Hi. My Samsung LE40S86BD randomly switches off (power down) and then (mostly) power on again. This all happens randomly. I have alreday swopped the TV once for a new one (same error). I am begining to suspect that it could be because my socket is not grounded (old house) and that it is some kind of static charging taking place. Any comments, verifications? Regards, Peter
If the tv set is still under warantee get it sorted before gtee runs out.
The problem is caused by cummunication error between ATV Micom and DTV Micom.
To correct this problem requires going in to service mode to make changes & updating the DTV firmware.
This will need to be done by a proffesional.

Sorry to say but it sounds like your power supply is bad, although it is possible it is some other components in the TV because turning it off allows all diodes etc to power down completely. Unfortunately after a bit it happens again which leads me to believe again power trouble.
