I took the tank off to dump the water out and now it won't restart. The temp says it's 64 degrees in my basement and humidity is low. Well I have water on the floor from the massive rains.

there is a switch in the upper part of the tray of water maybe you do not place it right when you bring it back.it should be turn on for your dehumidifier to work...if it is ok and it will not work still check the capacitor inside if defective commonly the value of it is 8 microfarad over 450 volts
