Generic problem for all Multimedia Projectors

No light come on from the projector (by 5 users)

I turn on my Panasonic projector, and there is no light come on from the projection lens. The power indicator is flashing green for couple second and turn red, and the lamp indicator is flashing red over and over again, until I turn the power off.

Three days ago, I check the lamp status, and it was use for only 350 hours. That is mean I have about 1650 hours left before I change the lamp.

Any other idea. Thanks.

I have the same problem on a Panasonic PT-LB10 projector. I have replaced the lamp, so it is not the lamp. Any help?

I have the same problem. Sanyo PLC-XU48 was working fine, used at most once a week for the past year or so. No indications that the bulb or any other problem was arising. When trying to power up, the green light comes on, but nothing ever displays. Green light goes back off and the red power light blinks as the unit powers back down. I replaced the bulb, but the problem still persists. I don't know what else to do.

Thats the projector telling you that you need to replace the lamp. Lamps usually lasts for about 2000 hours so if you had it for a while you may need to replace it.

www.froogle.com and enter your make and model or go to www.projectorcentral.com and find a few retailers in the US that sells lamps.
