I have 2, 1100d's(directed amplifiers). I am thinking about purchasing 2 Kicker L7 15's. How would I run the amps to the subs? and which ohm load of subs should i purchase(2 or 4 ohm)? Would the 1100d's be enough power to them, and how much power would be going to them?
I am thinking that the amps are 4 ohm stable but not sure. I would appreciate it if you know or could find out. thanks
I also have a 5 farat capacitor. Would this also help?

From what I have been told these amps are great. You can run anything on these. Now these particular models of the dei amps they make up about 2700 watts. That is true wattage. I would reccomend for you to bridge one sub to each amp. I wouldnt run any lower than a 1/2 ohm. So most likely I would go with the 2ohm speakers. The l7's are a prime choice for anyone. From what it looks like you have a truck? I would recommend to hammer all over the truck and listen to what may rattle. I can gaurantee when you have the subs hooked up you will have windows bowing in and out.

Hey I have the same amp on my Expedition and they go down to a 1 ohm load. They are animals, So get the dual 2ohm Speaker and wire them up to a 1ohm load, to each amp. These amp are class D amp so you cant bridge them they are all connected internally. make sure that cap is as close to the amp as possible. Use 4 ga wire for the power supply. Have a shop or if your good with your hands make a ported box that will let all your neighbors know when your 3 blocks for your house. Have fun.
