I lost my battery charger but i was told i could

i lost my battery charger but i was told i could plug it into my computer and it would charger, i tried that but now it doesnt work at all the battery exhausted screen doesnt even come up i dont know if its just completly dead or what the deal is?

ur battry charger is available in the market dont try on ur computer to charge the battery spend some money dude
