Lens is stuck extended. When I power on the lens retracts and the extends again. Canon blue screen appears, 6 beeps and camera shuts off.

Hi there
I got some extremely fine “Namib Desert” sand in my lens and now it’s jammed partially open, anyway ideas? Is it possible to open the camera up from the back and remove the lens . . . Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
