No controls can operate the door opener. The contacts have been shorted out and no change. The lights on the controller do come on and concurrently there is a click in the control unit whenever a contoller is activated. The motor is free and rotates easily when turned by hand.
your main power relay that gives the motor power to operate the door is working, but the main contacts that actuate the motor circuit in the same relay are not making connection to operate the motor, try a jumper wire across the relay contacts and see if its the relay contacts if the motor operates, hint: the clicking is the relay, but the contacts are not operating to run the motor circuit, only other thing could be is the infra-red safety stop circuit could be on due to a glitch in the circuit or the presence of an object in the doors travel path shutting it off for safety

I have a Sears HBW1127 garage door opener. I have two remotes but can only get one to program.. I tried pushing the buttoms together that didn't work either. I also bought a clicker compatible to the existing remotes and even with those only one will program. How do I get two remotes to work for the opener?
