when that list comes up, press the delete list to remove the entry.

Really clean your machine with CClean a free download free to use.

I use CClean weekly on my computer.

Thanks for using Fixa.com

- Pay attention ...

when the list comes up ... find the "Delete" key on your keyboard and press it.

I use this all the time.

It works.

- I'm only somewhat helpful? Only two thumbs up? Did you try it? Did it work? Works every day on my XP and Vista powered computers.

- You are right, I am wrong ... it is diffrent on a Mac. I am sorry

I sit here hour up on hour trying to give the best advice I can to a wide selection of people on more than 42 categories ... and I do it for free. More than 1400 answers - over 500 requests for clarification, - I hold five Brand Expertise awards from FixYa. I should be in the basement working on my shuffelboard and getting the rest of my basement project finished. Be nice to finish it before the Holiday, after more than 5 years of time investment.

Again, you are right, I am wrong. I'm sorry

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for using FixYa.com

Thanks for listing to the rantings of an old man.

OK here you go bro.  This advice is from someone who actually uses a Mac.  Quit guessing.  Its me fool.
In Safari: select Safari at top tab, select preferences, select autofill, and uncheck all the boxes.
In Firefox: select Firefox at top tab, select preferences, select privacy, and uncheck all the boxes under history.  In the same box check Always clear private data when firefox closes.  Select clear now button and check all the boxes and select clear private data now. Now click Security Tab and uncheck remember passwords for sites so that they are not automatically filled in when you start typing in the first letter.
