Windows vista updated and now my optiarc dvd rw drive won't work

windows vista updated and now my optiarc dvd rw ad-7561s ata device doesn't play or read dvd's or cd's and under device manager i'm given a code 19 error message saying registry errors

You will have to uninstall the drive and reinstall again. I think the drivers for the drive is not properly installed. But if all this does not work, then I think you will have to do a system restore.
