We bought a canon mp620 in the usa. the black ink

we bought a canon mp620 in the usa. the black ink tank is canon 220 pgbk. we live now in germany. i can"t get canon 220 black ink tank. i bought canon 520 pgbk instead which according to description should work with the mp620. but it doesn't. i get always the error message "u140, the following ink tank can not be recognized". what can i do? thanks in advance
