This is a problem in scanner section on your printer.You need to
disassembly the printer and pull out the scanner section.Open the cover
of scanner section and you'll see the mirrors inside.You need to clean
the ash from these mirrors using cloth which leaves no hairs.
WARNING! If you don't have a technical skills don't try to do anything.
If this not help you need to replace the scanner section.
