My trackball won't move. what should i do?

My ball was sticking on my Blackberry curve ..I simply got a pin and gently ran pin under the metal edge of the ball..it worked.whether it removed the dust or what I'm not sure..but I'm pleased it is sorted...

my 8100 pearl gives me problems on occasion. try pressing down on it abit with your thumb as you turn it. when i get back home from australia i will be buying some on ebay to replace mine and have spares. they can be purchased quite cheaply, if you are not technically inclined find someone that is. tools required are a torx type screwdriver. i believe a # 6 and some patients in taking it apart. and of there are videos on youtube that show you how it's done
