The power connector plug in on the 4040 GPS has slipped in to the GPS How do I open it up to put it back into the slot?

you realize of course that opening the case on your gps will void the warrenty. be that as it may once you have pried an edge open on your case along the side. use a guitar pick or something plastic like that... a body filler spreader made of plastic works well too. run it along the opening if it stops you have found a catch in the case. apply some pressure to the side to free it up. you will get the idea better as you "crack" open the case.
