it could be a hi-limit switch on the heating element,a thermistor, a heat cycling switch, does it completely shut off i.e. motor stops too or just no heat after 30 secs?

- yes start with these 3 items and possibly it could be in a control board sensor if its electronically controlled i.e. a touch-pad control, check for the thermistor first hi-limit switch second (its on the dryer heating element case),then the cycling switch, then possibly the control bd.

My dryer stopped working during a cycle last night and won't start again. The light is no longer coming on either. The first thing I checked was the circuit breaker which was fine. Can anyone tell me other possibilities?
