I have a canon digital rebel and I am having problems with focusing. When you push the button down half way to focus, it does not focus. I tried changing lens and it did not make a difference.

Try cleaning the contacts where the lens and the camera body meet with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol.
