I have just bought an i9+++ phone and have been setting it up. I can't seem to get online though? I remember when I've had new phones in teh past I have phoned t-mobile and they text me the settings. Is i9+++ a genuine make and model though? Can I just give them this?

Hi,it seems you can"t access the internet from your i9,the best solution is to contact your service provider(orange) to give you the internet settings for your i9,because this settings varies with different phone depending on your service provider.have a nice day.

turn off the lock feature for the screen settings/security setup/autolock keypad. seems to have worked for mine but bummer not being able to lock keypad.

my cect i9 was not charging from usb I though it was the cable but after I took out battery and scrapped the 3 contacts on the batttery with my fingernail it started to charge and be recognized by computer again

There is a i9 manual with GPRS settings here. They also have Internet settings for many providers. Just ask them for it.

This seems to be the settings for web, let me know if they work.


1- Set GPRS Account

Goto Home
Goto Entertainment
Goto Services
Goto Data Account
Choose GPRS
Create a new profile on mine I'm currently using a PAYG SIM so have called it PAYG O2 on Profile 8

APN (Contract) wap.o2.co.uk (PAYG) payandgo.o2.uk
Username (Contract) o2wap (PAYG) payandgo
Password password
Auth. Type Normal

2 Edit Browser Profile
Go Back to the Entertainment > Services Menu

Choose WAP
Choose Settings
Choose Edit Profile
Create a new one, I've called it PAYG O2 and choose O2
Choose Edit Profile
Rename if required
Homepage: http://wap.o2.co.uk
Data Account: Select the Account setup in 1 Above
Connection Type: Choose HTTP and set proxy to 193.113.200.195 and port to 8080
Username and password should remain empty

There should not be any difference between contract and PAYG

Connect the phone while the computer is off. Power on teh computer and it should detect a new USB hardware device. You should then see two new drive designations. 1 for the phone's memory and teh 2nd for the onboard memory card if you have one installed. Remember for the first connection the computer must be off when you connect the phone.
