The internal microphone in my compaq laptop is not working. It worked before but it got muted somehow and now I cannot unmute it. How can this get fixed? I can't use skype :(

the steps u can try is
1. go to start->control panel->sound and audio devices->double click on it and then go to the voice tab->in the voice tab click on to volume button and click on to the options tab and then go to properties and after that in the mixer device select the first option or check the recordings options then check all of the options in the list then click ok you will get a new window which give you the option of unmuting the microphone.
