I have a wd25001032 USB Hard Drive connected to a Windows Home Server. The Hard Drive is part of the WHS storage pool and I can no langer get contact with the Hard Drive. The green light is on but the drive does not show up on any computer I connect it to.
How can I fix this problem? Will I loose any files in the storage pool on the WHS if I disconnect the Hard Drive?

Log into the WHS and see if it recognizes the hard drive. If it does you can remove it from there and it will copy all the data off it and put in on the other hard drives. Then you can try and add it again or plug it in directly to your computer to test if its working.
