You don't need the cd-rom the vendor has the software drivers on their website, or search google for easycam (model version ) drivers plenty of other sites host them as well as GE

When you get to the page where the driver is click on the name of file to the left of the word (DRIVER)

GE EasyCam Webcam HO98063 with WIndows Vista

you have to install the software driver of your webcam HO98063 on windows vista in order to work properly.......otherwise it will not work in windows vista........try this ......it will work 100%....i am a software engineer.....and i have experience in it......thats why i am suggesting you this idea..........
