Make sure you have a charged battery Turn the player off Slide the Lock switch ON to insure MSC mode Plug it in Open "My Computer" Right click on the Sansa m240 icon Click on Format Choose FAT..not FAT32 Click "Start" Unplug and let it finalize Slide Lock switch to OFF Reload music
