Question about Philips Magnavox 27MS343S 27" TV
When either watching a video program or just tv stations the "MAGNAVOX" message appears at times and won't go away.
It can be cleared temporarily by pressing the MENU button on the remote to page through the menu for Picture, Audio, Option, Clock, System and Preset. This is annoying and there should be a quick and easy way to turn the logo off. Your assistance would be appreciated.
I don't know the exact TV, but Magnavox usually have an item or two items in the menu system where the "Magnavox" and also the "blue screen of death" can be disabled. Look in your manual.
I'd suggest the reason it appears is temporary loss of signal from the antenna, set top box, cable system or whatever it is you receive your TV programming via. I don't have an answer as to why it occurs watching video, but turning off the logo and blue screen should help. If it still occurs, it's time for professional intervention!

Not all TV programs and product
commercials are made with
Closed Caption (CC) information
included. Neither are all Closed
Caption modes (CC1, or CC2) necessarily
being used during the transmission
of a closed caption program.
Refer to your area's TV program listings
for the stations and times of
Closed Caption shows.
To close the close caption display from screen; press "CC" button on the remote control.
