I have a TRU 8885 system with 8 handsets. I've been getting weird messages from it. The unit that sits at the opposite end of the room from the base unit is refusing to answer calls. It says it's "out of range." Yet it makes calls without a problem and usually answers them as well.

The handsets downstairs are very slow to answer calls when we pick them up.

What's the problem?
