huh.....okay.
if you register through the host routing tables, it will be imediate. what that does is it make your phone register to RIM and so whatever you are set up for on RIM, your phone will match.....
you can run device diagnostics to see if the issue is a blackberry issue or a phone issue.....depending on the sw version you will either have to go to options, status, menu, device diagnostics, menu, run...or options, mobile network, menu, diagnostic test, menu, run.
keep an eye on the blackberry pin-pin, blackberry registration, icmp ping echo and connected to blackberry....yes's is good no's is not.....you should not see any no's.
also, you will see the radio data activation, radio access (make sure this is EDGE/GPRS (capital). if everything says yes, go into options, advanced options, service book and delete all entries (you will not be able to delete provisioning). you will have to resend service books. if the icon is still there you can go to set up internet email and go to settings, service books, then send all. if you dont see that there go to your browser and bookmarks, set up internet email, settings, service books.
if you dont see either one of thease, it means that the service books are just missing. thats fine. you can try to sync them over by doing the HOST ROUTING TABLES again (options, advanced options, host routing table, scroll to the BOLDED option, menu and register now....)
if that does not work, contact your service provider and have them sent from there. just ask to have them to resend your service books.
if you havent tried this before, now that im thinking about it, powercycle the phone. remove the battery and put it back in. its always good to do this if you have an issue with your phone.
