Roxio media manager issue

I installed Roxio to download picture to my BB curve. The media manager shows that the BB is connected. The screen on the BB shows it is connected but the once you go to the actual media screen to move a picture from my hard drive to the BB it shows that their is no device connected. I can't figure this out.
