Use a lense puffer from a camera shop to remove any dust these can be reasonably cheap , This is by far the best and only non contact way to remove dust from the lense, by no means touch the lense at all with anything,.... even the tip of the puffer.
If this does not work you need to replace the laser head/drive itself which is fiddly and time consuming and i would only recommend it if you are very technical.
You can buy spare drives on Ebay and there are instructions on how to strip your psp down on the web.
Be warned the whole PSP has to be totally stripped down to do this and i would not recommend it unless you are feeling very brave and have a watch makers eyesight!!!! (and watchmakers screwdrivers and an antistatic wrist strap and mat).
My PSP has done exactly the same thing after 12 months, i feel Sony has some reliability issues
with this drive as i have heard from many more people with the same problem, plus there does seem to be loads of these replacement drive assemblies on Ebay.
Hope this helps but its most likely a return to Sony for repair.
