Question about Acer Aspire 5100 3010 Notebook
Some time ago I bought a 5610 acer notebook, onboard wireless and winxp on it. Everything worked fine.
One day suddenly the wireless program just could not detect any net arround, unleass if I place the pc just about few inches from the Dlink modem, then it finds the a very week signal.
I tryed to use an other wireless card besides the internal and everything ran fine.
I have no idea on what's happening...
The connection between the laptop's internal wireless antenna and its wireless card may been disconnected. Best to take it in to a computer shop for fixing. If you want to fix it, open the PCI-E cover on the bottom of the laptop, then reconnect the antenna wire. If that doesn't work, get it serviced.
