Problem 1: xbox power stays on unless unplugged
Problem 2: disc drawer doesn't read discs. Disc drawer opens & closes. Eventually, it will stay closed after being held, but it will pop open again after about 10 minutes; after that, it's good.
Problem 3: Eject button is does nothing.
Manufacturing date is Sept 23, 02
Any ideas?

WizReplace the power supply.
Make sure what version yours is before doing so. One has a single row connector that goes to the Motherbrd...the other has a dual row connector.
You can also use a PC ATX type power supply from an old computer just to try before you spend bigger cash.
There are suppliers online that sell the power supply.
you'll also need a torx driver to get the 6 screws out of the bottom of the case.
