I just installed new batteries and the screen went

I just installed new batteries and the screen went plank and it won't turn on! I can't do a sync because I got a new PC a couple of months back but the disk of software for the Handspring doesn't have the correct driver and I don't know what to do!! I have all my passwords on this and I need it NOW!
