Re: @ key

This is a problem I had at onre time and it turned out that I had selected the USA Keyboard in stead of tthe UK Keyboard, you could have the same error or vice versa (ie Uk instaed of USA) so go to START then select CONTROL PANEL then select KEYBOARD and check which is selected and correct if necessary.

It can be virus problem. Try to go in 'Safe mode with networking' (press few times F8 when computer start to get menu options). Download ESET (Nod32) Online Scanner:
Scan your computer with repair option on.
After that update your Windows. If you can't do that from Microsoft, you can use AutoPatcher.exe utility:
I don't think it is keyboard problem.
You have free AVG good antivirus for homeusers.
Good luck!

What do I do if my Asus 1005 will type like im pressing the fn key but im not. Im trying to type but the numbers would show up instead of the letters like if im pressing the fn key. I don't know what...

Well this seems to be obviously a keyboard problem, that sort of things happens when the keyboard is extremely dirty or water or other liquids get to the keyboard circuits, there's no practical way to make it work as good as new since it's a laptop keyboard and it's all sealed, there are two options get the laptop to technical service or buy a compatible keyboard and follow this tutorial or this one.
If you have any other problem don't hesitate to ask.

The pictures on the f keys..Im pushing them but nothing is happening..for example..f1 is home key..not going to home page when I push it

The function keys that have the pictures on them have dual functions. You need to press and hold down the Fn key and then press the Function key with the symbly/picture to get the 2nd function/option.
Eg. For the Home key press Fn plus F1 key.

Or get it fixed at a local computer shop, im not really that much help sorry.

Keyboard settings

Sounds like your keyboard is set to US/English you should be able to make the change in Control Panel, on a US/English keyboard, if you press the number 2 and the shift, you are supposed to get the @ symbol.
