my samsung hp-t5054 makes a clicking sound when I plug it in and try to turn it on. we had a slight and i mean slight power surge yesterday and this was teh result.

unfortunately that didn't work. Just went out and purchased a power supply cord and new power surge protector.. Same double click sound like its trying to turn on and then it turns right off..

SOUNDS LIKE THE POWER SUPPLY HAS GONE OUT, NEEDS TO BE REPLACED- FAIRLY COMMON PROBLEM.
