I had the same thing happening. 20.1 was 19.1 as well as 12.1, 12.2, and 12.3 were 38.1-38.3. In the last couple of weeks my tv has freaked out and died. I'm just passed one year so I think I'm screwed. I looked and it has corrosion on both boards. That might explain why the logic circuitry didn't work right. Maybe not. As a computer builder though I know corrosion is a bad thing.

What causes pixelation only on digital 9 TV and there subsidiaries

Pixellation is a weak and noisy signal coming in. Digital HD needs a good signal at the antenna socket on the back of the TV. You need to have good quality quad shield coax cable down from the antenna, and preferably crimped F-connectors at each plug and socket. You may even need a new digital antenna if you are making do with an older analogue one.

Your other stations will also improve.

How do I receive HD Channels on a Techwood 22884 HD Digital

Ensure your antenna is properly connected. If you are using a cable or satellite provider, ensure your subscriber equipment is HD capable. If HD channel signals are not available (antenna, SAT or cable), then the television cannot display them.

Have you tried another HD television (if available) in the same configuration, and does it work? More information about your installation with manufacturer and models will help.

No signal onthe screen

If you are connected to a high definition cable box or satellite tv box you would not need to turn to channel 3 on your television. The television would need to be in the right input either component or hdmi. If someone connected the tv to the cable box or satellite tv box with a coax cable like an antenna cable then the tv channels will be available on channel 3 as well but they will not display in high definition. You change channels with the cable box/satellite tv box remote control. If the above is not correct and you are only connected to an antenna cable and not to a cable box or satellite tv box you will need to complete a channel search from the tv menu. It sounds like you are using a cable box/satellite tv box and that the tv is on the wrong input. If the cable box/satellite tv box is not working (i.e. just a black screen) on your television than that is a different matter entirely.

HDTV unable to get HD Channels w/ Antenna

The problem could be your antenna. Many people will buy small indoor tv antennas and wonder why they're not getting the signal that they want or the channels that they expect. Its not your fault. Digital signal is in two formats: UHF AND VHF. Some antennas only receive UHF. But many of the low band channels are VHF, so 1) you need an antenna that will receive those signals and 2) you need to know how and where to install that antenna and 3) you need to know if you need a signal amplifier depending on your coaxial cable length and number of connections. I recommend visiting dennys antenna service (no I don't work there and I have never purchased anything from that website. He just has an excellent informational article with a great deal of "how to" on his pages.). This should be of great help to you. Happy viewing =)

Switching between a 720 hd channel and a 1080 hd

The unit has an auto detection circuit to determine what signal is being input, it then processes it, however if the signal is altered (different channel) the TV will at times try to process it through the wrong resolution circuit causing problems. Change the input of the TV and then change it back and it will redetect the 720p instead of the 1080i and display it properly. Check with Sony for possible updates.

I cannot select Channel 10

What kind of antenna is used. Outdoor antenna or indoor antenna. The main board only detect the signal with certain level, if the signal strength is not enough, it will pass by. Since the change of signal from analog to digital this problem got more depending on your location. You need to use a booster-antenna to over come this problem.

I have a Westinghouse 26 inch TV. Model # SK-26H590D. It will not scan channel 9. I have tried both the automatic scan and the find channel scan. It is hooked to a Phillips Mant 510 vhf/uhf indoor antenna...

I carried my Westinghouse TV to the basement. Unplugged the antenna from the digital converter box and connected it to my digital TV. I then re-scanned for channels and found channel 9. After carrying the Westinghouse TV back upstairs, I connected the original set-up and tuned to channel 9 which was now showing on the screen as no signal. From that point I moved my VHF dipoles until I had located the correct position for reception. A little labor intensive, but I was fortunate to have another antenna that was receiving channel 9.

Can not get hd channels on my new tv..

First of all, digital/HD signals are broadcast at UHF frequencies. You need to know if you have an UHF antenna and, if you do, that it is pointed to the TV stations broadcasting HD.

Second, since most TV's have a setup mode that automatically searches for channels that are able to be received, go to that "Setup" menu on your TV and start the auto search. It will list both analog and digital stations. Note that the analog channel may be, for instance, Channel 39 but the digital channel will be Channel 39-1. Tune to the "dash 1" channel.

Using an over the air antenna I get all channels but one.

I experience the same thing on a day to day basis. The key, is location of the antenna. Depending on where your antenna is located, determines if u can recieve local CBS analog v. digitial. I actually tried sticking aluminum foil to my old rabbit ear antenna legs. to my surprise, I even picked up digital channel I never knew existed. Besides, when the signal transmit in Digital, u are already prepared. Your local CBS afilliate station will be accesable on maybe 2 or 3 channels. example:

Channel 10 analog

Channel 10-1, 10-2, 10-3 digital HD will all broadcast the same programming.

hope this helps u out.
