I have a Bushnell Voyager telescope and can't see anything thru it at night!

Did you set it up according to the provided instructions?
Do you have a low power eyepiece inserted at the viewing end?
Have you aimed the telescope at the moon as a basic test of
If your telescope is not properly aimed at the target (a star or a planet, or other object in the night sky) then you will see nothing.
If the power of your eyepiece is too large and your telescope aim is
not "dead on", then you will see nothing.
Have you tried using the scope in the daytime? Do you see anything?
Aim at a specific object, or section of an object, like the top of a lamp-post about a block or two away, and see if you can focus on
it the eyepiece.
You really need someone at your side who has experience in using
astronomical telescopes. That would be the quickest way to solve
any problems you have.
Unless your question is very specific, and unless you provide as
much detail as possible about your problem, it will be difficult for
anyone to provide you with speecific answers that will help you
solve your problem.

I have a 3 X 9 Vari X II SN # 755707 The horizontal radical keeps sliding down after I have sighted it in. Where can I get this repaired??

The Leupold customer service department handles their repairs. Give them a call at 1-800-LEUPOLD (1-800-538-7653) or (503) 526-1400, and they will be able to determine if the problem can be solved without sending it in, or if necessary, give you specific instructions for shipping the scope to them for repair.

Another option is to send them the information using their online form, if you click this link:

Hello, i have a Crosman 760 Pumpmaster Air Rifle, i got it from my grandfathers basement and it does not hold air pressure, i dont know what year but its the old one with the brass bolt, not plastic. i...

Sounds like it has a bad o-ring. you can take it apart and replace the o ring for under a dollar. just make sure you look at how it goes back together when you take it apart they are very simple. just make sure the carefully take the right side cover off with the left side of the rifle laying on a table, everything should stay assembled this way so you can look at it. the part you are looking for is in the large chamber that the pump goes into. from the back (the side opposite the pump) remove the spring and the metal piece behind it, then use something the shove the big brass part out of the chamber and the o ring is on the big brass part . take the old o ring to a hardware store to get another one.

What is an older powermaster 760 bb/pellet gun worth in ok condition but not holding air

well just seeing it's old might make it worth about 50$ for a collector to buy, but to actually use it might be worth about 10-20$ the best thing to do is 1. put it up in a local newspaper for sale or 2. go to and put it up for auction. Personally I'd say gunbroker, you have no idea how much money people make on there for selling things like Redryders and older guns.

Need instruction manual for 1996 or 1997 etx 90 basic model

The manuals are all available to download from

If your scope has the motor drives and a control panel into which a controller could be plugged, then you just need to buy an Autostar 497 - always available on eBay for about £85. However, there are older models of the ETX which only have one motor or as a spotting scope for terrrestrial use with no motors - Autostar cannot be connected to these.

Look at the pictures of scopes on eBay which come with Autostar - if your looks like these, Autostar will fit. Else you are out of luck!

Slide arm does not go completely forward

My Friend,
It seems you really have outdone yourself! The only thing I can recommend is to go to your local gunsmith ( a gun store could help in the location of one hint, hint) and have them disassemble the old gal. they will assess the damages done by your rookie mistake, and hopefully it's not too bad eh (she's a beauty she is). next time I STRONGLY recommend you take every precaution necessary to not damage you the guns or others. I STRONGLY recommend cleanings after every use, and please be sure to slide the slide arm all the way forward next time. You are lucky you were not hurt.
In my opinion though you may have broken a crucial spring, lock the slide gate shut, and/or dislocated the base of the spring. the shell not fitting I would say is a barrel issue with unburnt black powder, or a small dent in the barrel form the slide mechanism. BUT I HIGHLY recommend you do not try to repair this in your home or take my diagnosis as I have not seen the gun, nor am I a professional gunsmith.

Best Wishes,

Yesterday I purchased a Bushnell Banner 4-12 x 40mm scope and mounted it on my RWS model 48 air gun per the scope mount manufacturer's instructions. After shooting my gun 4 times the cross hair broke and...

to me it sounds like you have unfortunately been the victim of a manufacturers defect. the unique thing about shooting spring based airguns like your RWS and my Gamos is the effect of the recoil. it's different from traditional cartridge rifles but will never really be sufficient to ruin your scopes especially a bushnell. For now i would try to return your scope to the store you bough it from if that is within their returns policy. if not call bushnell at (800) 423-3537

here is their repairs process to help you decide what to do

To send product in for repair, please follow these instructions:
* USA Purchases Only
Package your product securely and include your name, street address, a daytime phone number, your email address, and a brief description of the issues you want addressed. Insure your product for the appropriate dollar value and send it to:
BUSHNELL (US Purchases Only)
Attention either: Bushnell or **Bausch & Lomb Repairs
8500 Marshall Drive

When returning product for repair, please do not send the product cases, lens caps, mounts, or straps.
Send in a check or money order for shipping and handling made out to Bushnell in the amount of:

$15.00 for Telescopes
$10.00 for all other products

(California residents are excluded from paying shipping and handling payments for warranted items only)
When your unit is received it will be assigned a repair number. After reading your letter, a technician will evaluate your unit to determine what repairs are needed and whether or not warranty coverage will be applicable. It is our option to repair or replace your unit. If your unit is NOT covered under warranty, an estimate for repair or replacement will be mailed to you.

You will have 20 days to respond, either accepting or declining the recommendation. If you accept the recommendation for repair or replacement you will need to provide payment. That can be in the form of a check, money order, or if you prefer, by MasterCard or VISA. If the repair or replacement is covered under warranty, you will receive no additional correspondence. Your repaired unit or a comparable replacement of equal value and function will be shipped to you via UPS within 3-4 weeks.
