Question about GE 36 in. Profile JGP963 Stainless Steel Gas Cooktop
Placed container on all five knobs and blew the fused outlet and thought to simply reset it... I unplugged the cooktop and reset the fuse and plugged it back in and it keeps tripping it.... tried it on another and the same thing... so .. what have I done... keeps tripping fuse when I plug it in..
any thoughts would be great..
tripping in Texas...
What do you mean you 'placed container on all five knobs'?
Apart from that it sounds like you have a faulty lead, or the contacts inside the unit have short circuited. This is the only thing that could be causing a continuous circuit and tripping the fuse.
