Canon iP90 Printer Problem
My canon iP90 is not printing the black ink. I have tried everything and don't know what else to do.
I've changed cartridges about 6 times, I've cleaned, I've deep cleaned, I do the test prints and sure enough - everytime it's only the color ink, no black
I don't know what else to do?

- I have the exact same problem the color cartridge seems to work perfectly. However, no black in at all. I've cleaned, deep cleaned multiple times. I've change ink cartridges included purchasing brand new cartridges to make sure they were fresh. Nothing works.- GuestJan 15, 2008

I have 2 MP 390s. On one the print head is stuck on right and does not move. On the second the black ink does not print but everything else seems to be fine. How can I remove the print head from the stuck machine and place it on the other one?

hi i am a certified canon repair teck for this product. the next thing to try is replacing the printhead which can be purched directy from canon at 1-800-ok-canon or at a canon repair center which canbe located by looking on there web site or by calling them. the only other thing i have seem cause this problem besides the printhead is the main logic board. out of two hundred repaired i have only seen that once be the main logic board. also when replacing the printhead use brand new inks with the new printhead and run one deep cleaning then test print. hope this is helpfull.

take printhead out and put cleaner or turps on gauzes, dab off with paper towel, reassemble and run clean programme - this worked for me and from no black output I ended up with full function printer
