The 7444 code does not work with my system is there any other way to change the setting
Well, my friend had the same problem. We didn't know about the 7444 thing, so at the enter code screen I entered random numbers. I decided to try something simple like "3210", and when I hit 5432, it worked. I don't know if it was just his ps2, but if you didn't set a parental control lock and there is one on your ps2, try entering "5432" at the enter code screen. I hope this helps ;)

Whoops, figured it out. When you access the dvd and it asks for a password, hit select. It will change to DELETE PASSWORD. 7444 worked and I was able to enter a new password.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!
