UNPLUG YOUR DRYER BEFORE STARTING ANY REPAIRS
Your problem sounds like drum rollers have flat spots on them or in need of lubrication.
If you have a front loading machine,
Remove the electrical box that holds the timer switch, start switch, etc. from the top of the dryer. Be real careful not to knock any of the wires off of the timer switch. Then remove the top of the dryer.
Remove the front of the dryer. This will expose the drum and belt, remove the drum and belt and this will expose the drum rollers.
Check your rollers for flat spots, if they have flat spots on them replace them.
If they don't then they probably only need lubrication. Lubricate the shaft of the rollers with a good grade of machine oil such as 3 in One oil. Reassemble the dryer, plug back in. This should solve your noise problem.
I will include these two websites for parts and further help:

Both also have chat assistance 24/7.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

HIGH PITCHED dryer SQUEAL but clothes are drying...

Had same problem that went away after replacing each of the drum roller wheel/bearing assemblies. (repairclinic.com) Not the easiest of jobs removing & replacing the drum, but a lot cheaper than a new machine.

Dryer makes squealing noise when running. What's wrong?

the idler or tensioner wheel that your belt rides on has a bearing in the center of it. This bearing is going out causing the high pitched squeal your hearing

Maytag electric dryer is making a high pitched noise

The squealing noise is from the belt tensioner. Replace the pulley only on the tensioner along with a new belt. The bearing in the pulley is causing the squeal. Sears will sell this in a kit. The top and the front panel of the dryer will have to be removed to replace these parts

High pitched squeal when running. Capacity Plus Gas Dryer ten years old.

tumble dryer / twin tub is making a loud rumbling noise when running, unplug it, take the rear cover off and remove the drive belt. Then turn the inner drum by hand. If there is a grating noise, the bearings will almost certainly need replacing

My dryer has a high pitch squeal when starting up. It would go away after a few minutes when it warmed up but now the squeal is getting worse and lasting longer

Kevlar 'slip strip' on which the front of the drum runs may need to be replaced. Try turning drum gently by hand to guage whether or not it is turning freely.

High pitch squeal-metal on metal contact

A lot of dryers have plastic or felt slides on the drum. This is to reduce friction as it rotates. They are probably worn off.

High pitch squeal

IT IS MORE THAN LIKELY A STUCK DRUM ROLLER OR IDLER PULLEY. I HAVE SEEN IN WORST CASE SCENARIOS WHERE IT HAS BEEN THE MOTOR ITSELF WHEN SUBJUCTED TO LOTS OF LINT AND DUST FROM PLUGGED VENTING. I WOULD CHECK THE FIRST TWO AS THEY ARE THE MOST COMMON. DO NOT OIL THEM.
