Alarm set issue

When I go to set my alarm (either to radio or beeping) I push in the alarm button per usual so the green light turns on, however the radio won't seem to turn off and just stays on? This happens if I set it to wake to the beep as well. I push alarm button in and the alarm starts going off?  
My tivoli is just over a year old and I have never had any problems with it thus far.  Please tell me there is a simple solution?  A $200 clock radio should not be having issues after only a year.
I would appreciate any help.
