Is that really the "Best solution" throwing it away? What about a recall or replacement?

This is what the USA has turned into! just throw it out and buy a new one......We are not letting retailers stand behind their products anymore! As the internet happens to be a great way of communication.....it also gives retailers a place to hide..while cutting costs.......They seem to have no obligation, to have a phone contact number.....So, there is no one to speak to about their inferior product. Did you know?...abroad,. we are known as the throw it away country ? So who can we contact? Well I did the down load...have to get new batteries......Oh!.so.does lack of updated soft ware cause it to eat upthe batteries too?

My mouse suddenly stopped operating during uploading of photos from a Kodak camera

Is there a blinking light on the receiver? Many times the mouse doesn't work because it has become un-sync'd with the USB receiver. Check on the sides or bottom of the mouse and see if there is a small button. Press it and try the mouse again. Let me know if this helps!

From the information you provide, you may need a driver. Have you tried another USB port and do you know the mouse works? More info would help such as the type of mouse or model no. and windows version.

I know.....I have to ask...you've checked the batteries right? OK. Check the cable on the back to mahe sure it's still plugged in firmly. If you push the button on the transceiver, it should start blinking. Then hold the button on the bottom of the mouse until the light on the transceiver is solid. Let me know what happens. If this solves the peoblem PLEASE rate as fixed. If not, DON'Y RATE YET. Just add a comment letting me know what happened and I'm here to help you further. Thanks toba. Let me know.

GE Wireless Mini Mouse 97985

Press the link button on the receiver the indicator light should start blinking. Then within two seconds press the link button on the bottom of the mouse, the indicator light should quit blinking. After re-linking the devices move the mouse to see if it moves the cursor. If the cursor does not move, then move the mouse and see if the indicator light on the receiver blinks. If the device does not blink then try re-linking the devices again.

You will have to go to the manufacturers website and download the driver and software for your mouse. Save the file then open it and install the driver. When you plug in your mouse again it should be recognized.

Batteries replacement

The piece of plastic where your palm would rest on the mouse is the compartment for the batteries. Locate the piece of plastic with the GE logo on it. You need to slide that piece of plastic away from the direction of the mouse buttons. You will then be able to put the batteries inside and slip the piece of plastic back on.
